Mackinac Island Tours

Mackinac Island is a little island just a few miles from the Michigan Mainland. If you go for a trip to this Island you will get to see beautiful places, magnificent gardens and stunning buildings. Even though this is the only way to get to the island, the ferry ride only takes about 15 minutes and is an ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy the natural splendor of the Straits of Mackinac.  There are regular ferry departures from either St. Ignacio or Mackinaw City.

You will discover that the only modes of transportation on the island are limited to bicycles, horse-drawn carriages and walking. Bicycle and horse drawn carriages will take you to see the island’s natural wonders and breathtaking beauty. Traveling around the island on a rented bicycle is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of Mackinac Island State Park and many limestone formations, including Arch Rock. Mackinac Island has been a favorite destination for thousands of groups.
 
Walking tours and cart tours are two great ways to see the island and its many attractions. There is Fort Mackinac, sentinel of the Straits of Mackinac for 224 years.
